Golf Club : Winter League

Mens Fellowship : Games Night

President John McGibbon welcome a good turn out of members to a games night at Beith Trinity Church Mens Fellowship last Monday. As well as the normal balloted pairs competition, a start was made on the bowls singles trophy competition as well as the darts and snooker competitions.

Youth Group : Cooking For Camp

Last Sunday evening cooking for camp was the theme of the meeting of Beith Open Award Group. The young people experimented using trangens to cook a variety of interesting dishes.

Mr Duncan Fisher, Waverly Cottage, Dalry Road, Beith, has suffered an irreparable loss by the unexpected death of his wife on Saturday morning. On returning from business in Glasgow on Friday he found his wife unconscious. Medical assistance was summoned but Mrs Fisher never rallied and died a few hours later.

There was a good turn out of Anchor Boys and Junior Section this week at 1st Beith BBs, with the Juniors having 100% attendance. The Anchor Boys had a quiz night, which was very closely contested, followed by a session of drawing, with a Christmas theme.
