Beith Old People’s Welfare Committee recently held their annual dinner for older people in the town and district. There was a full house at the function and everyone enjoyed a first class meal as well as receiving some lovely gifts of flowers and wine.

Professional entertainers made sure that after the meal everyone had a really great night to remember. Buses were laid on courtesy of local firm, Marbill Coaches, to take the old folk home so bringing to an end a very special evening.

Several old folk contacted the Beith correspondent to say how much they had enjoyed the event and praising the organisers, Beith Old People’s Welfare Committee.
