Edinburgh, Scotland

Edinburgh, Scotland. An excerpt from a BBC documentary serial “A Picture of Britain” presented by David Dimbleby.

We take the Free Hugs campaign all around Scotland. After discovering a version of the Free Hugs video that some people did in my local city, I thought it might be fun to take it all over Scotland. I filmed the guys in Aberdeen and we went on a long day trip to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth. We witnessed exactly what Juan Mann experienced, the police asked us to leave but the public stood there and defended us. The music was written especially for the video by me, James Provan (GiR2007). Filmed and edited by me also. The main guy in the video is John – www.youtube.com Visit the Bebo page FreeHugsScotland.bebo.com

    Aw poor Jealous Scottish c**ts that’s why they can never have a culture or be proud, because the c**ts only know how to hate England, they think its being a patriotic country, thats the only thing they’ve got going for them, they’ve got nothing else to be patriotic of.

    Our history our culture are people and our beautiful landscapes that make England look like the UK’s rear end, oh wait it is.

    @LcoolJfiveoh
    Since when did England found the UK?
    Or rule over Scotland etc.? The Scots have a parliament, and is as independent as a nation can be, while still being part of another country. If anything the English are the least independent, as the parliament in Londonj is for the UK, but the English don’t have their own.
    By the way, I love England, I just don’t like the putting down of the Scots.

    @AlbaSiar Nothing Scots about Edinburgh? What utter pish, xenophobia must do strange things to the brain. Gaelic is as about as native to Edinburgh as Urdu itself. The people in Edinburgh had been speaking Northumbrian Old English since the 7th century, at about the same time that Gaelic was getting forced on the native inhabitants of Scotland by victorious Gaelic imperialists who airbrushed their rivals from history. The signage at the airport is nothing but nonsense nationalist engineering.
